Position Overview
As a Door Component Manufacturing & Picking Associate at Krosswood Doors, you will be responsible for producing, staging, and picking door components to support assembly operations. This role requires a hard-working, reliable, and punctual individual looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing. You will be expected to work with speed, accuracy, and consistency as well as maintain a team-player mentality and commitment to safety, quality, and production flow.

All candidates are subject to a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Manufacturing door components including jambs, headers, thresholds, and trim pieces:
    • Operate saws, routers, and cutting equipment.
    • Ensure components meet size and quality specifications.
  • Pick components based on work orders for assembly:
    • Verify correct items and quantities.
    • Stage materials for production carts.
  • Read and follow work orders:
    • Confirm measurements and specifications.
  • Maintain quality standards:
    • Inspect components for defects, warping, or damage.
  • Support production throughput (TPUT):
    • Meet daily and hourly targets.
  • Maintain safe and organized workspace:
    • Follow PPE and 6S standards.
  • Work cooperatively with team members:
    • Communicate shortages or issues immediately.
 
Requirements:
  • Ability to use power tools: saws, routers, drills, nail guns.
  • Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/16 inch.
  • Ability to read and understand work orders.
  • Basic math skills including fractions.
  • Inspect materials for quality and accuracy.
  • Strong commitment to safety standards.
  • Work well with team members.
  • Maintain equipment properly.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Report discrepancies immediately.
  • Reliable work history preferred.
  • Stand for 8+ hours.
  • Lift 45–75 lbs regularly.
  • Strong communication skills.

Compensation
  • Bi-Weekly Pay.
  • Rate: $17 or more DOE.
